I am moving from one city to another, and it’s interesting to see how people spend their time. They are watching Facebook or Instagram, scrolling videos.
In this moment, I start to realize: why not audio? You just put your phone down and listen, see the window outside the bus. Listening is the most interesting experience that you can feel. You can be with your mind together, and your hands are free. No screen time. It’s kind of freedom.
8 years ago, I made my first voice app, and for about 7 years I tried to push it to the world, but without success. Wewtalk is my second try to spread voice.
Why do I like voice? Because when we speak, it is easier to tell what is really in your thoughts or experiences, and it is very easy to do. It is like telling a story to a friend.
Why do I also like a voice app? You can feel emotions, you can tell what your soul really thinks about.
Can you compare a voice call only with a video call? When you make a video call, you start thinking, “How do I look?” “How does the other person look?” Not our souls talking with each other.
I think the most wonderful and greatest sharing is happening by voice only. Where is that time of voice mails or voice calls to each other? We remember that time, the time when I went to my neighbours to call my girl classmate because I liked her too much. She said, “Hello,” and we just talked without seeing each other. Only this way you can say your real feelings.
We kind of lost it with all these videos. But Wewtalk exists. Come back to voice, and this wonderful feeling comes back too.
wow I jus realized “ it is like a kiss . You can’t truly kiss the person with eyes open, you need to close your eyes to really feel the partner. Your souls connection happens. Voice is kind of the same if it is solo, solo voice.
